The administration of KidsPark is operated as a parent cooperative in order to provide affordable child care to members. Such duties as classroom assistance, maintenance of the facilities, fundraising, community building, and outreach, are performed by member families. By donating time and talent, member families help maintain the high quality childcare they value, and reap the benefits of building a community where they get to know the other members. Cooperative activities are overseen by KidsPark Parent Advisory Committee (KPAC). More information about KPAC can be found on the KPAC page.

The active involvement of all members toward these duties is absolutely necessary for KidsPark to sustain itself and maintain our reasonable hourly rates. Every family is required to complete a minimum of 3 hours of cooperative work each quarter for a total of 12 hours over the course of the cooperative year. Failure to complete required work hours and/or failure to pay the fees set forth below will result in suspension of a family’s right to use KidsPark.

For more information about the cooperative structure, other cooperative requirements, penalties and fees, please consult the Parent Handbook, the cooperative  contract, email KPACCommunications@kidsparkdropin.org or contact the KPAC members.
