KidsPark Programs

Our programs are divided by age into the Infant Program, the Mixed Age (Toddler) Program, and the KidsPark Kapers Preschool Program. We’ve spent years developing and fine-tuning our child-centered learning programs, and we’re confident that each provides an incredible space of warmth, development, and high-quality learning for all our KidsPark kids.

Infant Program

6 weeks – 16 months old

Our Infant Room is a nurturing, safe, and enriching environment for our youngest members to explore, grow, and make connections. We maintain a ratio of no more than 4:1 infants to teachers to ensure adequate attention and time to develop a unique relationship with each child. We incorporate an ever-changing variety of sensory experiences, as well as art, music, movement, and outdoor time.

  • Naps are individualized to each infant
  • Refrigerator in-room to store milk and food from home
  • Photo updates and observations shared throughout day
  • Activities are planned and adjusted based on each child

Mixed Age Program

17 months – 4 years old

The Mixed Age Program is a dynamic, exciting group of toddlers and emerging preschoolers, exploring and learning in new ways every day. An incredible amount of development happens in this age group, and we work hard to support each child in their unique journey of growing stronger and smarter in so many ways. The Mixed Age Program offers a variety of arts, building materials, tools, books, and much more as our experienced teachers respond to the individual needs of the current group of children. We consider the outdoors to be our best classroom, and often spend the entire day outside, learning from nature.

  • Rest time is scheduled every afternoon
  • Snacks are provided by KidsPark, lunches are brought from home
  • Music classes twice a week
  • Free play and exploration prioritized while introducing more structured learning times

Kapers Preschool Program

4 years – 5 years old (not yet in kindergarten)

KidsPark Kapers is our specialized preschool program for our oldest students, and offers a unique experience we refer to as “meet and explore.” Instead of classroom or center-based schooling, we take advantage of our outdoor location to plan our days around adventures, our off-site experiences that other preschools simply can’t offer due to size or logistics. Adventures are ever-changing throughout the year, but some of our favorites include circus classes, theater performances, festivals, and exploring our neighborhood using public transportation. Our class size is capped at 10 students to ensure safety and individual attention, as well as freedom and creativity in planning exciting days of adventure.

  • Students must be potty-trained to participate in Kapers
  • Snacks are provided, lunches are brought from home
  • Parent preferences and involvement are always considered when planning adventures
  • Informal student participation is regularly shared with parents

F.A.Q.

Can I reserve a spot before my infant is born?

KidsPark does not have a formal reservation system, but parents and soon-to-be-parents are encouraged to email or request a visit to discuss current and expected availability.

Can you give medication to my child?

KidsPark is not able to administer any medications, whether prescription or over-the-counter.

Can I bring my child's blanket / lovey / stuffed animal?

Personal items are allowed and encouraged especially for naps to help children fall asleep and feel comfortable. Items should be labeled and teachers will do their best to make sure comfort items make their way back home at the end of the day.

What is KidsPark's sick child policy?

If your child develops an illness prior to their reserved start time, contact us using the reservation website and you will not be charged for those hours. KidsPark relies on members’ consideration of all children to prevent the spread of illness and keep our child care open. If your child has had a fever, recent runny nose or cough, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, or other symptoms of communicable disease, do not bring them to KidsPark.
